Back in BC

Sad to leave Texas but had a good trip back to California.  Met Denis and Paulette in Fort Stockton, TX our 10$ a night PA park that I wouldn't stay in 5 years ago, no longer a princess!
Booked into Camperland for 2 weeks and then going up to Sunshine Valley for a week before heading back to the Island.  Great weather for the long weekend. 
If I posted every couple of days it would be better.

Shuffling!

Taking up a new sport, shuffling, at least that is what the people on the shuffle board court call the activity.  Had a lesson last week, played 4 games and going for a strategy lesson tomorrow.  Kind of like curling and pool, the room is air conditioned and wear whatever you want and they supply the sticks.
Donna flea market on Sunday, lots of goodies, a mixture of Yuma Market and the Mexican market.  Going to hit Mexico on Friday, maybe, hard to fit everything and we only have 16 days left.  Forgot, wishing for wind to blow the mosquitoes away, damn, always something, too hot, too humid, too windy, too cold and believe it or not, rain.  Having too much fun to actually notice all those complaints.

So excited!

Wow, we got a big raise, OAP and CPP, whatever will we buy.  No shortage of places to eat or play in Texas.  Dining out is listed as an activity, best breakfast, best lunch and best dinner or is that supper.  We have only scratched the surface.
Will try and add pictures from Annie, because now that we have LINUX, can't find pictures, ha ha!

Too much Fun

Fun 'n Sun RV Park, lives up to it's name with a fun night at Papa Joe's Hamburgers and Stuff.   So, much fun, 38 people, Elvis impersonator and 2$ beer.  Started at 3:30 pm so back in park by 7 and the party continued more beer and more wine and of course lots of laughs.  Missed golf this morning so will go tomorrow.  Going down to learn the art of shuffle board, apparently I have to learn to keep score and of course where to stand and best of all how to win, ha ha!  This is a great place, but OMG it is humid, have to drink lots of water. 
This looks so different now that we are running linux, hope it looks the same when you read my blog.

Fun 'n' Sun hot and windy

Like the wind, helps to blow the heat away. Today is ice cream social with free entertainment after, sometimes good, some times not so good. When you don't pay you can leave. Did you know ice cream was one of the three major food groups. Pet bed laundry machines here, isn't that a good idea? Havoc loves the water off leash dog park, but I am sick of cleaning him up afterwards. Hope you will check my blog, I will try and keep it short and interesting.

I am back!

I spent 4 hours, 2 yesterday and 2 today, trying to figure out how to start up my blog again. OMG, I finally figured it out, crazy crazy old lady, damn.
Will be a follower and will let you know I am blogging again, it is a good way to keep a journal.

Catalina Spa RV Resort, DHS, CA

Finally made it to our favourite RV park. Nobody here for happy hour so Art is drinking by himself. Barry and Joan left this morning, had fun drinking "Players Extreme Caramel Vodka, soooooo gooooood! Golfing tomorrow at The Sands, looking forward to a fun day. Art won ice cream at pool. We have 6 hamburger coupons from last year.
